Aim – Generate an understanding of Karam Kriya oriented towards its use as a support to KY teaching, and to the personal development of the teacher and the student.
Structure: 11 monthly w/ends. Saturdays, h.10.00-18.00, Sundays, h.9.30-17.30. Sunday sadhana, h.5.30
Activities: Presentation of themes, meditative conversations and group activities, practice of KY kriyas and meditations.

Introduction to the Karam Kriya as a support tool to Kundalini Yoga. Number 7. Karam kriya as a tool for understanding the self and the world. The relation between KK and KY. Karam Kriya, the mind and right understanding. Meditative practice in the teaching space and in life.

Number 5. The body, the nervous system and the voice as multidimensional interfaces and instruments for creativity. KK, KY and the paradox and sacrifice of the teacher. Life and teaching as experience and experimentation. The dialogue as meditative practice. The language of numbers and the vocabulary of Karam Kriya.

Number 1.The soul dimension. KK and KY as discovery of and connection to the deeper self. Life as the dharmic journey of the soul. Anchoring and connecting to the vertical axis. The integrity of the teacher and the student.

The teachers
Shiv Charan Singh is the founding director of the Karam Kriya School and cofounder of Quinta do Rajo, its headquarters in Portugal. An outstanding and authentic spiritual teacher, he is totally committed to guiding students in their spiritual growth so they can bring spiritual awareness into their everyday lives and develop their full potential as human beings. He is a skilled counsellor, author of several books on human communication, the mystery of numbers and poetry. He runs training programmes throughout Europe, Australia and South America.
Suhab Kaur, PhD, has been practicing Karam Kriya and Kundalini Yoga since 1995 under the guidance of her spiritual teacher Shiv Charan Singh. She is a KRI certified Professional Teacher Trainer teaching in London and internationally, and a Karam Kriya trainer and consultant. Between 2011 and 2016 Suhab served the KY sangat as secretary of the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association in the UK, and since 2016 she has worked with her teacher to develop the curriculum of the new Karam Kriya for Kundalini Yoga Teachers and Practitioners (KK4KY) course, which she is currently coordinating and co-teaching in London and across Europe. Suhab is also a musician and interdisciplinary artist researcher, and has participated in exhibitions and collaborative projects worldwide.
Gurudass Singh became one of the first teachers of KY trained in Italy. He is now the director of Ram Dass (an established and respected training school dedicated to promoting the science of Kundalini Yoga and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan), Level 1 Mentoring Lead Teacher Trainer (registered with UISP/CONI and IKYTA, the National and International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Associations); mentis training teacher level 2. He has studied with Shiv Charan Singh, the founding director of the Karam Kriya School. During the last few years Gurudass Singh has been involved in a program designed to bring down stress in workplaces and high schools through the use of conscious breathing – Pranayama techniques.
